There are two lovely examples of foods from Mexico created by immigrants and multi-cultural influences; the Caesar Salad, created by Caesar Cardini, an Italian immigrant who opened a restaurant in Tijuana, Baja California and the traditional side dish of Spanish rice, which was brought to Mexico by the Spaniards after they traveled on to Asia and returned with rice and popular spices such as cilantro. Both of these examples are enjoyed world-wide. At El Cisne Restaurant you will find exceptional variations of fine Mexican food with influences from abroad as well as favorite traditional Mexican dishes. We specialize in wonderfully prepared seafood and steaks. El Cisne also carries a wide variety of beers, wines and liquors including exceptionally prepared specialty drinks. Beer and wine were also brought by immigrants to Mexico. Many of these are now favorites in the United States and several other countries. This multi-cultural Mexican heritage is the heart and soul of El Cisne Restaurant. Each dish and drink is prepared and served by our highly experienced staff in a modern contemporary setting that is both elegant and relaxed. We hope you enjoy your experience and thank you for visiting us!

A great place to take your date or significant other. Nice cocktails. Good food. A tiny bit pricey but it worthes it. Sebastian, the bartender, is the man.

I was really excited when I heard we were going here. I am from the east coast, I was really hoping for a southwest flavor that would blow me away. It didn't.
